I made this sculpture from stone back when I was in college. It’s about how humans and nature are completely connected, like a big, endless cycle. The carved roots show the twists and turns of our life journey our character, our mind, and all the paths we take. The empty, vessel-like form shows the final step: where we go back to the earth and become a timeless part of the land.It's a simple reflection on life, death, and finding our true, rooted place in the world.
